How to assemble your scoutlabs delta trap like a pro in merely 50 seconds
IMG_5934.MOV.mov
Unbox the package:
- Folded trap (solar paner, battery and a cable are pre-assembled)
- Camera (mini)
- Hanging rope
- Cable
You’ll notice the trap is marked with some numbers and pictograms showing you what to do and in which order. This can help you assemble it faster without any instructions.
Steps:
- Align the notched side panel with the designated slot on the main frame and carefully snap it into place to secure the structure.
- Insert the camera from the inside of the trap, align it with the designated holes, and secure it by locking it in place from the outside.
- Connect the solar panel’s cable to the battery by threading it through the trap and securely plugging it into the designated port.
- Connect the separate cable to the battery and to the camera and switch on the camera.
- Fold and insert the tab into the slot labeled “4” to secure the panel, locking it in place.
- The corner tabs are the attachment points for securing the sticky sheet. Our advice is to insert the lure and sticky sheet before hanging - much less messy that way!
- Place the cable in the designated holes and fold and insert the tab into the slot labeled “5” to secure the panel, locking it in place.
- Insert the hanging rope to the trap and hang the trap (like in this example). Follow Installation guides for different crops for more information on where and how to hang them.
